Wonders of Egypt: Match 2 continues the adventures from the original game, offering new Match-3 puzzles. The level designs are even more colorful. As usual, the early stages are simple, but don’t let your guard down! As you progress, new colors, types of obstacles, and unique challenges will appear, increasing the difficulty and excitement.
Rules of Wonders of Egypt Match 2
- Objectives: At each stage, the player is given specific tasks to complete, such as breaking 10 stone slabs, collecting 20 amphorae, or opening 3 chests. Complete all objectives to clear the level and advance.
- Match-3 gameplay: Drag adjacent tiles to form a continuous line of identical elements. Three matching pieces in a row will disappear from the board and the contents of the rows above will shift down to fill the gaps.
- Special power-ups are created when four or more matching treasures are lined up in a row. Four-in-a-row: Line Destroyer: Clears an entire horizontal or vertical line on the next match. Five-in-a-row: Cassandra’s Orb — activate by swapping places with any of the four adjacent tiles. Effect: Removes all instances of the selected item from the board. A T-shaped combination creates a Cross Destroyer, which clears both a horizontal and vertical line in the next match. Swapping any special tiles significantly amplifies their combined effect.
- You can earn Ankh Coins by completing levels, finding them in chests on the game map, receiving them as a daily reward, or winning them on the Wheel of Fortune (available starting at Level 15). Use these coins to get out of tough situations with the help of the available tools.
The Swap, Pyramid Lasers, and Hammer options unlock as you progress and are always available in the help panel below the main screen.
How to play
Use the map on the main screen to control the game. Choose a level, review the objectives, and swap items strategically to complete all the tasks.
Each level features a new game grid filled with randomly arranged, colorful Egyptian treasures. Click on adjacent tiles one at a time to swap their places and form combinations of three or more. If a match is impossible, the move will not work.
Plan your moves in advance—there’s no time limit! Look for potential matches and the most advantageous combinations to boost your score. The fewer moves you use to achieve your goals, the higher your score will be.
