The rules of the game are very simple: catch the eggs alternately rolling from the trays. The eggs roll slowly at first, but pick up pace as the game progresses. The wolf must catch as many eggs as possible without letting them fall to the floor. A fall is penalized with one point, but if it occurs when a hare appears – half a penalty point. The original can be played in one of 2 difficulty levels.

- Game B: a more difficult version of Nu Pogodi electronic game where eggs roll from four directions at the same time.
In the easier Game A, one of the four directions the eggs roll from doesn’t work. With this, if you drop the egg, the location of the inoperative direction will change.
