If you’re familiar with the classic card game Pyramid Solitaire 13, beware: this version has unexpected twists and turns! Meet the new Egyptian solitaire Pyramid Solitaire and play in 3 difficulty levels, without retakes, but with an infinite return of the turn.
The goal of Pyramid Solitaire is to remove cards by matching those that together give 13. Jack is worth 11, Queen is 12, and King is 13, which means the only kind of card that does not require a pair.
Description of online solitaire Pyramid 13
Initially, all the cards on the table are open and are cleared from the bottom up with the help of the remaining ones. They are issued for resetting 4, 3 or 2 at a time, depending on the difficulty you choose. There are no retakes in the game, but the cancel button is available. The expiration of the time allotted for the game deprives you of bonuses, but is not considered an automatic loss.
How to lay out the card Pyramid
The object of the game is to sort out all the cards of the pyramid, creating combinations of two cards in order to get 13 points. If there is neither a King nor a matching pair in the pyramid that adds up to 13, click on the stock deck. You can also transfer one card from the pyramid to the reserve.
Scoring depends on the face value of the suit (nine – 9 points, six – 6):
- Ace (A) – 1;
- Jack (J) – 11;
- Queen (Q) – 12;
- King (K) – 13.
Game strategy
Pyramid Solitaire is known to reduce the number of potential matches as you get closer to the top. Therefore, when dismantling the foundation of the pyramid, look for a way to clear the table without resorting to stock. Use the reserve space from the table or stock: you can set aside a useful trump card to get the right card or save it for later. Have a nice game!
