  • Cards

Napoleon Solitaire is an addictive masterpiece in the card game genre that immerses you in strategic planning and can help you clear your mind. All you have to do is stack cards on top of the higher or lower ranks of any suit to build up both Ace and King decks over the course of the game.

The peculiarity of Napoleon Solitaire online game, in addition to the obvious convenience of layout without registration and download, is the desire for a high score. The less moves you spend, the higher the result of the game.

About the game Napoleon Solitaire online

  • can be played for free and without registration;
  • there are endless hints, undo’s and turn backs;
  • game time is unlimited.

Minimalistic graphics and a wide range of help options make Napoleon Solitaire the most comfortable game for online players. The best choice if you are looking for a relaxing activity and have free time.

Napoleon Solitaire layout

This game follows the classical rules of the card solitaire Napoleon for two decks. First, four Ace and King cards each are placed in the center of the game table as the beginning of the foundations. The remaining 96 cards are arranged around into 12 stacks, with 8 cards closed each.

Only the top card of a stack can be moved to neighboring stacks. They can be used to move to an adjacent stack regardless of suit match, as long as the difference in card precedence is equal to one. Thus, any Queen or Ten can be placed on any Jack.

It is possible to transfer to the suit funds at once:

  • to the Ace, if the rank order is correct (2,3,4… 10, J, Q, K);
  • to the King, if the countdown is reversed (Q, J, 10, 9… 4, 3, 2, A).

How to play

Manipulate the contents of the twelve stacks of the game board to arrange all cards into eight basic suit funds in ascending and descending sequence.

When there are no moves, you can shuffle the layout twice. Click on the restart button on the bottom left, the game will shuffle all hidden cards. A double right click activates the automatic transfer of all matching cards to a base. The choice of base is random, be careful!

Napoleon Solitaire is an interesting card game of French origin, described in 1870 by Annie B. Henshaw as “the favorite amusement of Bonaparte in exile”. The unusual way in which the cards are laid out and sorted has been the basis for several variations of the game. For example, the single deck version of solitaire is Napoleon’s Square, also available for free here. Try it out at your leisure and save a bookmark to come back again and improve your skill.
