The old card game Gin Rummy has many alternative names: Gin Poker, Gin. This game is considered the ancestor of many Mahjong solitaire games and is considered one of the most popular in Britain. The online version of the game follows the classic Gin Rummy card rules. The object of the game is to create sets of three or more cards in order to keep your score as low as possible. How to play Gin Rummy
The online version of the game Gin is designed for two: you play against the computer. Each player receives 10 cards of the standard deck, the rest make up the reserve pile.
The goal of the game is to collect combinations of cards consisting of the following sets:
- three or four cards of the same rank;
- three or more cards of the same suit, collected in the correct sequence.
In this case, the Ace is considered the youngest card (it stands in front of the deuce).
The game begins with the top card of the stock removed. The player can take it (if it is needed to create one of the sequences) or refuse (PASS).
In the second case, a reserve card is taken and the most unsuitable is discarded. Your opponent can remove it or cover it with his own, having previously used the reserve pile. The game continues until one of the players announces the desire to open cards for counting.
Cards that are in any union have a value of zero. Those that remain are declared dead wood and are evaluated by numerical values: Ace, King, Queen and Jack – 10 points each.
