How to play Belot online
If you have played Belot with friends before, you can skip the description below and proceed directly to the game. This description is intended for those who are playing for the first time and are unfamiliar with the basics.
Traditional Belot is a card game played in teams of two. Two teams of two players compete against each other using a deck of cards without sixes (only cards from sevens to aces). Players try to collect more cards in each round to beat their opponents by collecting tricks and card combinations.
In this online version, you play with MiamiHero, a blonde player. The opposing team consists of star players.
Rules of the game Belot
First, each player automatically receives five cards. Then, they begin bidding on the trump suit. If a player passes, they give the right to choose the trump suit to the next player. Once the trump suit has been chosen, the remaining cards are dealt (eight to each player).
The goal of the game is to earn 501 points before the opposing pair does. The player to the left of the dealer places a card on the table. The next player must follow suit. If they have no cards of the suit played but have a trump card, they must play the trump card. If a player has no trumps, they can play any card. The trick (four cards on the table) is won by the player who played the highest card. That player goes next.
How points are calculated in the game
Sequences can be formed from all cards. The value of non-trump cards is as follows: A = 11, 10 = 10, K = 4, D = 3, V = 2. Points for trumps: V = 20, 9 = 14, A = 11, K = 4, D = 3. The last trick is worth +10 points.
Announcements (winning card combinations) for Belote online are tracked automatically. Example: Belot: King and Queen of the trump suit. The game will ask you to confirm your bid for a terts, berz, or deveerts — combinations of three, four, or seven cards of the same suit in a row.
We invite you to play Belot online. It’s a good way to practice before playing for real money. It’s also the best way to enjoy playing cards when you don’t want to wait for opponents or learn the rules. Leave all the hassle to artificial intelligence and play for your own enjoyment!
