How to play American Toad Solitaire
Objective of the game: move all cards to the bases, collecting sequences of each suit from the rank of the base card and above. The ranking of the cards is continuous: the King is followed by the Ace as needed.
The table for sorting in reverse: built in descending order of suit, here the Ace is followed by the King. The sorted assemblies are carried as one card.
The left column of open cards is called “Toad”, cards from it are dealt in order and can be placed on the playing field or transferred to the base. The deck deals one card per discard and may be resold once.
Spaces on the field are filled automatically from the reserve. After the 20-card storehouse is empty, you can fill the empty space with the top card from the discard pile.
The principle of solitaire American Toad is similar to the game Canfield, except for the construction of cards on the playing field by descending suit. Also excluded is the transfer of partial assembly of sorted cards. It is allowed to move either the whole stack or only the bottom card.
